Linda Walter

Linda Walter is research assistant and PhD candidate at European-University Viadrina at the chair of European and International Politics and is writing her doctoral thesis about the influence of emotional stories on basal moral human rights shared via social network sites (SNS). Her main research interests include the nature of humans, the moral basis for human rights, attitude change and the communication via SNS.

Linda is cofounder and board member of the human rights organization Future Challenges, running the international blogger platform futurechallenges.org and building the secure YouTube for human rights called weye.info. She’s been volunteering for Amnesty International and gained inter alia experiences in the German Federal Foreign Office and SAP. Linda holds a B.A. in Philosophy and a M.A. in Politics (European Studies).
